1

Landscape Construction

Will you be building a gazebo, a trellis, or a pool house? Construction can add interesting features to your landscape

2

Water Features

The sound of trickling water has a calming effect. A waterfall or pond can make your yard seem more natural. Fountains come in many styles, and create a pleasant focal point in your design.

3

Outdoor Lighting

Lights can make your yard more functional in the evening, highlight design element or specific plants, and enhance safety.

4

Retaining Walls

Retaining walls are important for the stability of your lot and home. If you live on a hill, you may need to add retaining walls and level parts of your yard to create more usable space to complete your landscape projects.

5

Lawn Planting

It is sometime easier to plant new grass or lay sod than it is to restore a lawn that has been neglected. Also the results are faster and seed or sod may even be less expense, depending on the amount of materials and labor that would be required to care for your old lawn.

6

Tree & Shrub Planting

Trees and shrubs are an excellent addition to your landscape. It is important that they not only look good when they are installed, but that your landscape design anticipates their growth and maturity. If anything, the trees and shrubs of your home should look even better as they grow. If you are working with a contractor, it is important that they know how to plant the range of trees and shrubs you that will be used in your garden. It your contractor does not know the proper method to plant the trees and shrubs included in your landscape design, it is possible they may die soon after the project is completed.

7

Tree Service

As part of your home landscaping process, it is a good idea to have the trees on your property treated and pruned. This is healthy for the trees, attractive for your yard, and will help prevent a diseased or un-pruned tree from falling onto your home.

8

Drainage

If your yard is not properly draining, or if your landscape plan creates new drainage problems, you should take care of it as a landscaping project. Poor drainage can damage your plants, damage your property, and make portions of your property saturate with water.

9

Irrigation

Lawn sprinkler systems and garden drip systems are standard features in a home that has been recently landscaped. In fact, if you are thinking of selling your home soon, you should not spend a lot of money on landscaping your home unless you add sprinklers and drip irrigation systems. If you landscaped without including irrigation, many home buyers would want to rip out your landscaping to install irrigation, so they would not credit you for the upgrade.
